1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AlphaTensor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. AlphaTensor reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

AlphaTensor is a trading strategy development, testing, and automation platform. The Service provides tools for creating, backtesting, and deploying trading strategies across various asset classes. The Service is intended for informational and educational purposes and does not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or solicitation to buy or sell securities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Risk Disclosure

Trading Risk: Trading in financial markets involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance of any trading strategy is not indicative of future results. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.

Backtesting Limitations: Backtested results are hypothetical and do not represent actual trading. There are inherent limitations to backtesting, including but not limited to: survivorship bias, look-ahead bias, market impact, slippage, and transaction costs that may not be fully accounted for.

No Guarantee: AlphaTensor does not guarantee any specific results or profits. Any strategies, signals, or recommendations provided through the Service are for informational purposes only.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to manipulate markets or engage in fraudulent trading activities
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and user interfaces, are the exclusive property of AlphaTensor and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any strategies, configurations, or content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant AlphaTensor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including brokers, data providers, and exchanges. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. AlphaTensor is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALPHATENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALPHATENSOR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AlphaTensor and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

AlphaTensor may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and you must discontinue all use of the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AlphaTensor operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
